S&S Preparations was founded over 35 years ago Steve Wilcox, a qualified aircraft engineer by trade, but more importantly TR7 enthusiast. After carrying out the V8 conversion to his TR7, a V8 Rally Car was purchased. To supplement the cost of rallying.Steve started to carry out work for members of the local TR Club in which he was active. S&S Preparations was now born, albeit on a part time basis. It soon became apparent that the skill and knowledge that he had acquired was becoming very sought after throughout the TR 7 world, more and more of his spare time including holidays was being spent working on TR's, so in January 1986 the decision was made to make S&S a full time occupation. The first year saw 3 magazines Sports Car Monthly, fast Car and Car & Car Conversions all carry major features on S&S and their work. 35 years on and unfortunately we no longer carry out work on cars but we do still supply parts.
